Outcrop is a large-scale, site specific installation of cast concrete forms. At first, they appear to be an expression of the natural geology, but on closer inspection they are revealed as man-made. Outcrop explores uncomfortable natural-cultural dualities, which characterise contemporary experiences of landscape.
Collaboration with Hannah Rose Carroll Harris. Fifty-four forms cast in-situ from concrete and local red soil.
Sculpture in the Paddock, Murrumbateman, NSW. October 2018.
